Azusa Ono is a London-based lighting designer
Azusa has been creating lighting designs for a wide range of live performances and art forms for two decades.
Her work explores the boundaries of conventional frameworks by broadening and shifting perspectives through lighting. Thrives on collaboration with other creatives and artists.
Nominated for the 2025 Profile Awards in Theatre for ‘The Spy Who Came In From the Cold’ at the Minerva Theatre, Chichester.
Recent stage work includes the West End’s Trafalgar Theatre, the Harold Pinter Theatre and the National Theatre’s Dorfman.
Art collaborations include the COP27 Health Pavilion in Egypt, Tate Modern’s Tanks and the Barbican Theatre.
